And, so it is with ending addictions:
It’s not fear of the unknown
—uncertainty of how we will die in the future.
It is fear of letting go of what we know will kill us;
The mind’s constant craving for control
Of the future in psychological time!
Drowning in the endless river of addiction (fear) disappears
When we stop looking back and look within
To understand how the mind works.
When mind lets go of time and fear of losing the known ends,
We can embrace the unknown with an open heart.
Connected by Love with the reality of whatever arises
In the constantly changing ocean of the present moment!
