True Self-awareness

If time arises—memories or desires in the future—

I do not identify with them.

I observe them without judgment,

with an open heart;

Until understanding removes the ignorance of learned prejudice,

to expose the root cause of my feelings,

to uncover the truth:

all that remains is Love, flowing with untethered compassion

unified with the natural virtues of my innocent mind

to awaken intelligence—

a virtuous response within yields choiceless, spontaneous action

as required for “being”—an expression of love;

Completely satisfying my immediate emotions,

leaving no psychological scars,

and dissolving time in constant discovery—

the peaceful, silent beauty of the eternal present moment.
