Cravings: the imaginary “wanna-be’s” are never real!

Posted on February 2, 2025February 2, 2025 By Still Awakening

A humorous reminder that everyone is addicted to something “in addition” to being addicted to thinking. This reminds me to “stay aware” that I am not what the imaginary self-ego (created by my past) craves to feel real in the present moment, where the self-ego can never exist. By non-judgmentally observing my self-craving desire to be something, anything real, I can dissolve those mental torments with the light of true Self-awareness. And poof, the cute little girl and her cookies disappear in always-present Self-awareness that my addictive thinking is never real—in the present moment! My true Self, “I Am,” is not my self-ego’s (“wanna-be” real) addiction.
