Recover Innocence: Revealing Is Healing

There is No Time for Addiction in the Present Moment

Posted on May 1, 2024April 17, 2025 By Still Awakening

Addiction is an illusion of my mind, thoughts that create me

—my image of being separate from the world,

imprisoned in that part of my mind by its past—the limited self-ego;

All addictions create the illusion of being isolated:

Psychologically trapped in linear time;

Relying on what I already know—the past—to control the future.

This limitation creates fear and suffering from the lack of understanding

my connection with Life happening now—the ever-changing unknown truth.

Not until the mind becomes aware of its limited, separate, self-created ego,

constantly remembering: I am not my thoughts; there is no I am

can I, the ego illusion, disappear into awareness—

when it becomes free from time in the eternal present moment.

As the mind becomes free in a unified meditative state,

of being complete—(w)holiness,

the heart opens, reconnecting its essence of universal energy-in-motion,

my present feelings, with the intelligence—the truth—of eternal awareness.

When these emotions of connection—self-love—awaken,

When the illusion of separate thoughts evaporates, the ego disappears,

and only the energy of meditative awareness remains as selfless Love.

Then,

There is No Time for Addiction in the Present Moment;

There is only Love in the Present Moment!
